If I apply for several zero percent credit cards at once will a few companies give them to me?
My goal is to get as much credit as possible because I owe the IRS about 15k. If I apply to several card companies all at once they will see the inquries but not the cards on my credit. Will several companies give me a zero percent at once? I have 720+ credit.

Wouldn’t it be easier to set up a payment plan with the IRS? I’d rather deal with the IRS than a credit card company.
Not much out there for 0 % now……..but you can try……..
With 720+ credit score, you are very likely to get approved. But opening a lot of new accounts in a short period of time isn’t a very good idea. It won’t look good on your credit report, and can give you some disadvantages in the future if you apply for a loan.
Be careful…..applying for a bunch of new credit all at once can lower your credit score….At most….apply for two cards….
Stay away for any firm on cable TV that alleges that they can negotiate settlements….most are predators
Hi Jon, All 0% cards that I have seen the rate gets higher after 12 or 18 months. If you can’t pay out in that time you might look for a card with a low 2.9% or 3.9% for the life of the balance transfer. After you get the card check the limit if it isn’t enough to cover the 15K that you need call the company and ask them to raise the limit. Even tell them what you want the money for. If you already have a credit card you should first try calling the company and see if they can work out a good deal for you. I know this can be done.
We had an offer of 2.9 for the life of the balance transfer but the limit was only 10K. We called the company and told them that the note we wanted to pay off had a 15K balance and they aproved it.
Good Luck
You should not apply for several at
once, doing that could look bad on
your credit report, and you would
be turned down for most or all of
them.
